Movement Torino is back with brand new dates for 2018 — this year taking place two weeks earlier on October 12th and 13th.
Taking place in Torino, Italy, the sister festival to Movement Detroit once again the venue is Lingotto, a vast building that’s like a conference centre-come-aircraft hangar. It’s divided into different arena’s that range from huge to more intimate. Each one is transformed with stunning production; LED screens and lights all add extra dimensions to the music which booms from huge speaker stacks that are more than sufficient to saturate the space with sound.
Who has been announced?
This year they welcome in the first wave of acts; Jon Hopkins (live), Nina Kraviz, The Martinez Brothers, and Joseph Capriati. They’ll join the likes of Amelie Lens, Charlotte de Witte, Derrick May, Levon Vincent, Solomun, Underground Resistance, DJ Bone, Cosmo (live), KiNK (live), Francesco Tristano (live) with more to be announced.
Over 15,000 people attend Movement each year and come from all over the UK, Spain, Germany and the rest of Europe. The festival boasts a cashless payment system, all with a focus on environmentalism and, of course, a world-class line-up of the finest techno talents the scene has to offer.
