New Babyfather LP Forthcoming on Hyperdub

Dean Blunt is set to return to his Babyfather project on April 1st with a new album for Kode9‘s Hyperdub imprint.

The 23-track effort – entitled, BBF Hosted By DJ Escrow – features collaborations with Arca and Mica Levi, and comes with what has to be either the best or the worst artwork ever, depending where you stand on ‘hoverboard’ debate (either way it’s hilarious).

Few details have been released as of yet, but the press release is accompanied by an apparent quote from Idris Elba stating: “Without a doubt, I guarantee that it will be in rotation at every club, at every party and coming out the speakers of every car …this makes me proud to be British.” Then again, Dean does have a history of telling porkies…
