The Liverpool International Music Festival (LIMF) returns in 2018, taking place on July 21st and 22nd.

Last year Liverpool International Music Festival attracted over 120,000 music lovers to continue in the celebration of Liverpool’s rich musical history, diversity and this year they return for two days at Sefton Park with a tantalising line-up including Haçienda Classiçal, Basement Jaxx, Example & DJ Wire, Jax Jones (live), Tough Love, Riton, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Gilles Peterson, Jazzie B and more.

Yaw Owusu, LIMF Music Curator, said: “The line-up this year is really important as it not only reflects just how far LIMF has come in the past few years, but also showcases Liverpool’s bold contemporary musical voice and attitude. Our theme is Co-exist and Connection so it was essential the festival represented a diverse music offer which mixes classic and new sounds, established and emerging names, covering a myriad of genres and styles – which is an honest reflection of what’s happening within music culture, not just locally, but on a global scale!”

LIMF tickets now available. Advanced tickets start at £5 per day for general admission and £15 per day for VIP, Ages 11 and under go free. For more information visit http://www.limfestival.com.

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
