JETS Launch New Label

It appears that forming the duo JETS for a series of  live shows won’t be the only collaborative project  undertaken by Jimmy Edgar and Machinedrum as the pair have confirmed they are also launching a new record label together called Ultramajic.

The latest team up from the American duo was apparently borne out of Edgar’s desire to “create my own world of music, design and whatever else” which revealed that the new imprint was to engage in a variety of other artistic disciplines from gallery events to club nights and any other aspect of multimedia that happens to fall in between.  Also brought onboard for the new venture is acclaimed designer  Pilar Zeta who previously worked on the artwork for Edgars Majenta album and will be designing the cover for the first EP in addition to a “metaphysical card deck” based on the Law Of One books.

The first release Hot Inside will be from Jimmy himself with future releases from JETS and Creepy Autograph on the horizon. Interesting stuff.

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
