Golden Pudel Planning To Reopen This April

Golden Pudel co-founder Rocko Schamoni has announced plans to re-open the much loved Hamburg nightspot by the end of April according to reports from German newspaper Hamburger Abendblatt.

Having suffered a devastating fire the early hours of February 15th with the incident being treated as likely arson by investigators and on ongoing legal battle regarding the state of the building’s ownership, many feared that we’d seen the last of the popular club.  The Pudel were however, quick to issue a statement announcing their intention to restore the building to its former glory and now just over a week on have revealed that the repairs to the roof are finished and the building is now resealed.

The row regarding the club’s ownership appears set to rumble on with the building still set to go up for auction April 20th amongst a series of protests organised by supporters campaigning for the venue’s continued existence.
