Kick back with a free download from up-and-coming experimental producer Glass Doors.

The Hampshire based musician – real name Aldo Fornasiero – is celebrating his debut EP Luminous, a heavily textured meld of laid-back glitch-hop and pockmarked soundscapes. Speaking to DT, Fornasiero reveals he created the 6-track effort “throughout various stages of my life and places across the UK, constantly working and reworking tracks until they fit together.”

Luminous displays the producer’s obvious penchant for sampling, and it’ll come as no surprise that he cites influences such as DJ Shadow and Bonobo. “Moving form Kent to Hampshire throughout production allowed me to refocus and edit the EP from a different mindset,” Fornasiero continues, “stripping down my production-equipment to the minimum forcing me to experiment with my sampling-abilities, ultimately leading me to rely on a wide variety of samples spread throughout the EP.”
