Floating Points & James Holden Prep Split 12″

More collaboration news, well sort of as Floating Points‘ Eglo imprint has announced that they’ll be releasing a joint 2 track 12-inch wherein DT favourites Floating Points and James Holden will both contribute an effort each.

Titled the ‘Marhaba’ EP, the release feature the tracks that Floating Points and Holden performed individually with Guinia as part of a group of European musicians who traveled to Morocco to participate in Moroccan festival Marrakech Biennale last March.

Set to arrive April 20^th complete with a commemorative 20-page booklet of photographs by Camille Blake, London based readers will reportedly be able to grab a copy on wax ahead of its official release date at the Independent Record Label Market in London this Saturday. We’ll be keeping our eyes peeled!
