Falty DL Shares Album Cut and Video Teaser

We’re quite the fans of Falty DL here at Data Transmission. So much so that last year we flew out from swinging London to Berlin just to attend the Ninja Tune affiliates album launch party.  Thus you can imagine our excitement when over the last few weeks as Mr. DL dropped no less than two fresh new efforts on us.

After impressing his with his Power 12” a short while back the Blueberry label boss then treated fans to the unveiling of his brand new remix of Disclosure and Friend Within’s ‘The Mechanism’ which we’re not hesitant in saying we prefer to the already popular original. Well now, he’s just spoiling us with the exciting announcement of plans to release a new album via Ninja Tune this summer and sharing a full stream of album cut ‘Some Jazz Shit’ and a video teaser of the of the LP’s closing track ‘Greater Antilles’ on Pornhub. Yes, you read that correctly although we’d like to point out there is nothing explicit about the video.

Titled ‘Into The Wild’ the new record sees the Brooklyn producer express himself across a variety of mediums  including hooking up with artist Chris Shen and writing a poem to accompany the album which can be read here.

Scheduled to arrive mid-August in the middle of a 14 city tour across Europe and North America you can check out the two streams and tracklisting from the album below.

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
