EXIT Festival announces New Acts including a b2b set by Solomun & Dixon

EXIT Festival today unveils the second wave of acts set to perform at this year’s edition, including Dixon, Solomun, RÜFÜS & Faithless DJ Set from Sister Bliss and more.

The festival is just a short ride away from the Serbian capital Belgrade in the magical Petrovaradin Fortress set high on the banks of the river Danube in Novi Sad over the weekend of 6-9 July 2017.

They’ve already announced the first round of acts with something for music lovers of all genres with a diverse mix of artists performing on numerous stages connected by cobbled streets, ramparts and tunnels, this years festival will welcome Liam Gallager, Hardwell, Paul Kalkbrenner, Alan Walker, Duke Dumont, Foreign Beggers, Black Coffee, Hot Since 82, Jake Bugg, Jamie Jones, Kungs, Robin Schulz and many more!

Data Transmission travels around the world, exploring local scenes, getting the inside information on from the locals, could be a trip to a festival to a small rave a remote part of the world, it’s about finding out the unknown and submerging sounds. For the first in this new series we ventured to Exit Festival in Serbia in July 2016 to find out about the history behind Serbian Electronic Music and their scene and how music has evolved over the years. We spoke to the founders of Exit Festival and also three prominent DJs in the local scene in Tijana T, John Belk and DJ Lag about their experiences with electronic music in the country, what it was like growing up listening to music, smuggling of records in to the country and what its like now.
