Junction 2: Inner City promises to deliver a full weekend of techno over the August bank holiday

As calendars finally start to fill up after a 16-month hiatus, selecting your cornerstone events has never been more important. This year, Junction 2: Inner-City is taking over the iconic Tobacco Dock grade 1 listed warehouses for the August bank holiday (28-29 August) to bring you an impressive array of techno artists, that you’ve likely been dreaming of seeing while stuck in your bedroom. In fact, the event has proven so popular that the planned one-day quickly became two.

Junction 2, powered by LWE, has forged a strong global following over the last six years through its outdoor Boston Manor Park festival, whose location inspired the name. The brand is renowned for bringing a mix of well-known and up and coming talent to its stages, supported by the very best sound and production values.

While we’ll have to wait patiently until June 2022 for the return of the festival, the sold-out Inner-City August bank holiday event promises to deliver some of the biggest names in the industry across 4 arena-like rooms. Showcasing the likes of Amelie Lens, ANNA, Maceo Plex, Dixon and Jon Hopkins on the Saturday and Dax J, Charlotte de Witte, Adam Beyer, Nina Kraviz, Maribou State and VTSS on the Sunday, this event really does have something for all.

If that wasn’t enough, Inner-City will also be running 2-days’ worth of after-parties at another iconic venue, fabric, which will power you through from 23:00 until 07:00. Here you’ll be able to catch the likes of Amelie Lens, Tommy Four Seven, Nina Kraviz, Willikens, Ivkovic and more.

At both venues, you’re guaranteed to find state-of-the-art rigging, light and sound systems and it will no doubt prove to be food for the soul after so long.

While the Tobacco Dock events are already sold out, you can still add yourself to the waiting list on the Junction 2: Inner-City website or keep an eye on Resident Advisor. If you’re quick, there are also still limited tickets available for the fabric after-parties, available on Resident Advisor for both Saturday and Sunday.
