Thursdays suck. We know. Not quite the weekend, but there is light at the end of the tunnel. It’s like that attractive fellow office worker you exchange flirty messages with after work drinks but never quite manage to date. Yes, we understand your frustrations. So allow us to perk you up with another fresh exclusive to help you make it through the week with the grand unveiling of Umami’s remix of rising Berlin based producer KlangKuenstler’s ‘Man On The Moon’. Featuring the vocal talents of Alice Phoebe Lou rather than Michael Stipe, the original quite simply blew up when it first hit sound cloud last year on Rob Da Bank’s Sunday Best and was a natural choice to be selected as first single to be taken from the 23-year old KlangKuenstler’s upcoming album ’That’s Me’.

Backed by remixes from Miguel Campbell and Berlin duo’s Umami and SokooL, it was Umami’s reimagining of ‘Man On The Moon’ that really grabbed our attention and we quickly set about securing it as an exclusive premiere after a single listen. So here it is in all it’s glory, check it out as part of the full package you can grab a copy of here

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
