With both last and next weekend seemingly a million years away we need something to take our mind off work and let our imagination roam so to speak. How about imagining a record that was both produced and mastered on one of the best sound systems in the world at somewhere like room 1 system at Fabric London? Sound good?
Well allow us to blow your mind as the upcoming EP from Darren Flecta on Hatchwork is exactly that. And we’ve secured it as an exclusive premiere for you to enjoy on this or any other fine day.
Titled ‘Lost In Clarity’ the EP was inspired by many nights lost in the clarity of music on Fabric’s iconic system and all tracks on the EP were mixed and mastered on the very system in the exact space that inspired their creation.
With the help of Fabric’s long standing sound engineer Sanjeev Bhardwaj the EP was designed and produced to embody some of the special character of Fabric’s room1.
Set to arrive May 26 listening to this EP comes with a warning: putting this record on your speakers may lead to an uncontrollable urge to stop whatever you’re doing and head to Farringdon!
