Exclusive Premiere: Darren Flecta – Lost In Clarity EP

It’s Wednesday and we’re not ashamed to admit we need a pick me up. With both last and next weekend seemingly a million years away we need something to take our mind off work and let our imagination roam so to speak.  How about imagining a record that was both produced and mastered on one of the best sound systems in the world at somewhere like room 1 system at Fabric London? Sound good?

Well allow us to blow your mind as the upcoming EP from Darren Flecta on Hatchwork is exactly that. And we’ve secured it as an exclusive premiere for you to enjoy on this or any other fine day.

Titled ‘Lost In Clarity’ the EP was inspired by many nights lost in the clarity of music on Fabric’s iconic system and all tracks on the EP were mixed and mastered on the very system in the exact space that inspired their creation.

With the help of Fabric’s long standing sound engineer Sanjeev Bhardwaj the EP was designed and produced to embody some of the special character of Fabric’s room1.

Set to arrive May 26 listening to this EP comes with a warning: putting this record on your speakers may lead to an uncontrollable urge to stop whatever you’re doing and head to Farringdon!

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
