Exclusive Premiere: Cera Alba – Dura

British jock Cera Alba is surely one of 2014’s most consistent producers. Releasing music at a frankly astounding rate, the producer, real name Liam Jones, has made a career for himself off the back of some wonderfully received tech-house cuts. Now if you like fad free, no nonsense rough and tough house music then look no further than this new EP Redhshift Vortex. Moving up through the ranks on labels like VIVa and Moon Harbour, he now comes correct on Troupe with an EP that is full fat, full flavour, full on fun.

It features two tracks, the first of which is Dura, which we have the pleasure of exclusively presenting to you today. A massive track that is beefy and bulky in all the right ways, the drums are tough, the synth stabs are full of energy and the grinding bass just rolls and rolls. Perfect for a sweaty back room or basement this Winter, it is backed by second cut Event Horizon which similarly shouldn’t be sniffed at. Check out Dura in all it’s drum lade splendour below.

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
