Eric Sharp combines with Zhao on ‘Monday Blues’

Los Angeles based artist Eric Sharp has once again teamed up with prominent artist and producer Zhao for the warm and very much welcomed single titled ‘Monday Blues’ on the Swedish label House Music With Love. Following the release of the track is a remix package with three beautiful and personal takes on the song by Pandhora, Urmet K and SOAME.

Pandhora goes for a beautiful and clean line of percussions that really hits the spot together with the mellow bassline and synthesizer action. With very well placed vocals and live guitar riffs we get a track with an extra touch that makes for a wide soundscape.

SOAME brings forth the mystery feel with beautiful pads and ringing notes that makes for a darker ambiance. The kick, percussion and bassline goes together extremely well, and the entire production is a show of how the mood of a track can change with the use of clever details. 

Urmet K opens up his version with a softer intro before being led into the first deep section of the track. A playful take on the vocal placements as well as giving them room to disappear and re-emerge makes for a nice touch on an already solid remix. The drops are heavier and slightly darker before we are yet again introduced to the more colourful melodic notes.
