Ejeca Launches New Label

Ejeca. The alias of Nu-House Producer/DJ Garry McCartney, is one undoubtedly one of the finest talents to have emerged in electronic music in recent years, quickly winning plaudits from the likes of Erol Alkan, Jackmaster and Sasha for his unique productions that fuse Disco, House, Garage and Techno together. After collaborating with names like Bicep and setting about rapidly compiling an increasingly impressive back catalogue with releases on the likes of Needwant and Tusk Wax Ejeca has now confirmed he is set to take the next step by launching his own imprint.

Entitled Exploris, the new label will naturally be inaugurated by Ejeca himself with the first release being the “harder hitting”  ‘Nebula’ EP which is set to arrive this July. Luckily fans won’t have to wait until July to get a flavor of the EP as McCartney has shared the opening track of the inbound release. Curiously named after a wrestling legend we think ‘Rick Flair’ is a promising sign of things to come.

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
