Diplo Reveals Jack U Album Plans

After the announcement of the roster for Diplo’s Mad Decent Block Party last year you’d be forgiven for not knowing the identity of one of the named artists set to feature, Jack U. The reason being that this was the first time the act was set to appear as the collaborative effort between the Mad Decent boss himself and Bro-step king Skrillex. After initial confusion the new partnership was confirmed by Diplo on his twitter page with him stating “Jack U…Means Skrillex + Diplo together.”
The collaboration whilst no doubt exciting for their legion of fans should have come as little surprise considering the close working relationship that already existed between the pair with Diplo appearing on Skrillex’s Full Flex express train tour the year before and them launching a new youtube based video project Potato Will Eat You alongside A Trak.
With plenty more expected from the all star combination Diplo took to twitter to indirectly announce that we could expect an album from Jack U in the near future after responding to a question about why a supposed collaboration between the two and Riff Raff didn’t appear on the rappers album Neon Icon. So there you have it, a Jack U album is on the way. Keep it locked here for more details as they arrive.
