Brothers Danny and Kieran Clancy have forged a fierce reputation for themselves as some of London’s most unique party starters. Their Krankbrother events have grown from an annual fancy dress party solely for their friends to one of the most recognized and well respected parties in the capital. Thus, launching a label felt a natural progression on what they’d previously built with their eponymous Krankbrother imprint quickly establishing itself as one of the UK’s more prominent labels.

So, after opening up the account on their burgeoning outpost earlier this year, Krankbrother return to their label with two new tracks and a remix from Norwegian disco stalwart Prins Thomas, which again showcases the multi-faceted nature of their musical dexterity.

For today’s Debut Transmission we’ve plumped for Prins Thomas’ intricately crafted rework of the brotherly duo’s title track ‘Obscure Visions’, a fully formed winter warmer, which ticks all the boxes required for a modern day, funky dance classic. Rolling, broken beats and brass keys are firmly the order of the day, underpinned by disco fuelled bass line a certain Mr. Moroder might well enjoy.

Arriving November 16th alongside its original incarnation and a thunderous slab of techno aimed squarely at the small hours, this is one package you won’t want to sleep on. Check it out below.
