Black Girl / White Girl return to Roush with their “Astrovision” EP

After a series of the formidable peak-time house for Relief and Repopulate Mars, Black Girl / White Girl return to Roush with their “Astrovision” EP.

It’s another record of expertly built by Karin and Ty with two original dance floor cuts. Fat, fast and filled with percussive floats and skips, expect the new ‘Astrovision’ EP to get plenty of play.

On “Invasion” and “Space Odddity”, Black Girl / White Girl mean business, ticking some very satisfying boxes while effortlessly percolating between techno and house.

Our premiere “Invasion” is a bumpy house cut that’ll lend instant enigmatic old-school charm to any club floor it graces. Zeroing in on exquisite drum programming, strutting hi-hats, and tumbling synth sequences, it flaunts a raw electro tinge likely to cut through any crowd – it’s devastatingly effective.

It would be easy for Black Girl / White Girl to continue down the road of straight-to-the-point house bangers, but this follow-up shows that they’ve got more genre-busting tricks up their sleeves. Get used to the sound of these, because you will likely be hearing them all summer long.

The “Astrovision” EP is out August 2 on Roush, check it below and grab it here.
