Harlem born RnB starlet Azealia Banks has gone full EDM in a new collaboration with iconic dance music figure Paul Oakenfold for a track entitled Venus (Ibiza Edition). We’re not quite sure how Ibiza the sound of the track is as it seems far removed from the sound we’ve been enjoying on the White Isle this season but rather seems indicative of the big room sounds that are dominating the Las Vegas soundscape this summer.

With further collaborations planned with dance music figures including a rumoured team up with UK chart topping duo Disclosure it seems that the outspoken young American will be engaging in a fair few more electronic projects over the coming year.  We’ll be watching her twitter account in anticipation over the coming months for more details…

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
