Exciting news for fans of Armada Music and Toolroom Records today as the two announced a collaboration for future releases in the Benelux region. The move is part of Armada Music expanding into different territories and genres of music, enhancing and broadening their reach by hooking up with Mark Knight’s well-established house imprint Toolroom Records.  Now we’ve long known Toolroom  for its brand of deep, funk-infused house and Armada for being one of the leading labels when it comes to Trance but what exactly will they be collaborating on?  Well it seems that Armada is broadening its horizons and is using the house imprint as a vehicle for change as it oversees the Benelux releases of Toolroom, with both companies able to share ten years’ worth of experience at the forefront of the dance music industry. The first single, which will be released on February 17th, 2014, is our former single of the week “The Guitar Man” from British producer Weiss, who readers may remember we tipped for big things a while back and has since gone on to win seen major support from top DJs and BBC Radio 1 alike. In addition to this release the two companies will also be releasing a co-branded compilation, and they will feature joint playlists on Spotify. Sounds good to us guys!

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
