The streak goes on. After years of starving us on the content front, experimental beat scientist Aphex Twin has enjoyed the most prolific of 2015’s, continually taking to soundcloud to share new music. Following up on the grand unveiling of fresh remix of classic 80’s house track ‘I Want To Be With You’ by the Street Side Boyz, Richard D. James has now uploaded a fresh slew of tracks to his soundcloud page, giving away an alternate version of classic ‘Druqs’ cut ‘Avril 14th’.
Available to download now, we’ve always had a soft spot for the gentle, key led nature of ‘Avril 14th’ and clearly we’re not only ones, with Kanye West sampling the 2001 track for his song with John Legend, ‘Blame Game’. Having already delighted fans with a series of well received releases and the sharing of several deluges of previously unreleased material, here’s hoping it’s not the last we hear of him this year!
