When we spoke to Andy C earlier in the year we found that Drum & Bass’s premier DJ is always moving, living a whirlwind life of gigs, tours and festivals at home and beyond. When he’s not in a car he’s on a plane. He undoubtedly clocks up some serious air miles over the course of a year so we are equally as surprised as we are excited that Andy has announced that he will soon be releasing the next chapter in his highly acclaimed ‘Nightlife’ compilation series. Regarded by many as the definitive drum & bass mix series, ‘Nightlife 6’ will be released later this year on his Ram Records imprint. The hugely anticipated album is the sixth instalment of the series that began in 2003 following on from the last mix released in 2010.
In further good news the Ram Records boss has confirmed that he has also been busy on the production front and after delivering remixes for the likes of Rudimental, Major Lazer and Chase & Status, he has also revealed he’ll release two new original tracks, ‘Haunting’ and ‘Workout’ this autumn.
Until then check out Andy’s remix of Chase & Status featuring Moko’s ‘Count On Me’ below
