The first tier of line-up for AVA Festival and conference this year, Belfast’s first electronic music festival taking place on June 4th at the iconic T13 Titanic Docks.
AVA is an Audio Visual Arts Festival and Conference in Belfast that celebrates, amplifies and develops the strong current of electronic music and digital visual arts.  The goal is to provide an opportunity for emerging and established artists, DJ’s, producers, managers, agents, labels, designers, visual artists, promoters and some very special guests, to share their knowledge through a free daytime conference (11.00-15.00) that progresses into the ticketed AVA evening showcase (15.00-Late) with a unique local lineup, paying homage to Northern Ireland’s unique energy and character.
The first wave includes RØDHÅD, Mano Le Tough, Gerd Janson, Optimo, Phil Kieran, and includes the UK debut of Bicep’s live show, complete with visuals from revered AV artist’s Guerrilla Shout. On top of this the line-ups play homage to local talent with a host of North meets South Irish talent.

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
