Street Banquet 2015 in Wolverhampton



Street Banquet launches in Wolverhampton this Saturday 27th June at Wolverhampton Rugby Club in Castlecroft  from 3pm-11pm. The organisers are ecstatic to be able to proceed with the event in this local, community led venue allowing them to support a local sporting and charitable organisation.

Street Banquet will take over a section of the playing fields to create its banquet village from converted shipping containers, bespoke bar structures, up-cycled furniture and unique food stalls. Families, friends and foodies will be able to enjoy a selection of the countries finest street food, with delights including: Slow roasted lamb shoulder with home smoked bacon, ratatouille and goats cheese; Juicy Cow-Boy burgers, sprinkled with bacon bits, smothered in American cheese, maple syrup and served between a fried donut; Thai bolognese, served with rice spaghetti, special herbs and garnish; Wok N’ Roll pad Thai; Bajan roast chicken – marinated for 48 hours in a traditional Barbados seasoning; French, hand cut, twice-cooked, crispy frites, topped with delicate fresh herbs and spices; Mini-pancakes dressed with organic chocolate sauce, blueberries and bananas. All this and more provided by Grande Viande, Cow Boys Burger, 63 Islands, Penang Laska, Fancy Fries, Pop Up Pancakes + more.


Street Banquet’s drinks partners will provide many options to wash these fantastic food selections down. Langleys Gin Experience, bring their lovingly hand crafted, timeless Old-English style gin, to form cocktails such as the Langley’s E11even, Gin Gin Rose, Elderflower Fizz, and of course the classic G&T with a twist. Birmingham’s modern boutique wine Merchant, Loki Wines, will be on hand to provide a selection of wines and expertise to match to the food on offer.

A highly distinctive range of beers, ales and stouts from South Staffordshire will be on offer courtesy of the local; Enville Ales brewery.  Along with Fresh juices and delicious mocktails will be available throughout the day providing non alcoholic alternatives for children and adults alike.

A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
