Squarepusher To Revisit Classic Material At The Troxy

On October 24th Soundcrash will present a special night at The Troxy in London headlined and curated by pioneering renaissance man Tom Jenkinson. Better know as Squarepusher, Jenkinson will perform exclusively for Soundcrash, delivering two distinct sets which are guaranteed to blow the mind.

Following a sold out headline show at the Barbican and a rapturously well-received world tour, Squarepusher will again perform his acclaimed recent longplayer for Warp, Damogen Furies in its entirety as a fully-integrated audiovisual experience before revisiting a number of classic tracks from his back catalogue with the help of a full live band. With tracks from seminal works such as Feed Me Weird Things and Hard Normal Daddy set to make an appearance and support from from 808 State – who’ll be serving up a selection of early explorations in acid house and techno – this looks to be a special night indeed for the capital!

Sounds good to us!

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
