The Ark Festival Announce Two Cruises For 2018

Share

After the sold-out first edition of The Ark, they’ve announced its return in 2018 and are building on it further.

The 2017 edition sail from 31st August to 3 September, with over 4,000 passengers and no fewer than 90 DJs, including Martin Solveig, Roger Sanchez, Felix da Housecat, 2MANYDJS and Claptone, along with culinary delights provided by top chefs Nick Bril of The Jane, Piet Devriendt of restaurant De Oesterput and the Dutch chef Steve Depp.

They are now unveiling the 2018 edition of The Ark. Departure and arrival will remain in Barcelona but this time, there will be no fewer than six different departure date combinations, making this 2nd edition even bigger than ever. One notable innovation is that this year, during the stop at Ibiza, they will stay moored at ‘La Isla Blanca’ from 11 AM until 2 AM. This will give passengers the chance to make the most of their visit to the party island. What’s more, in 2018 The Ark will be adding an extra day (5 days, 4 nights), with an extra stop in Palma De Mallorca.

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
