We Celebrate 100 Renegade Riddims with 2 Mixes!
Share
We’ve had an amazing 2 years bringing you some great mixes from some amazing up and coming talent from the Drum & Bass scene!
Over the last 2 years we’ve trawled the internet in search of new up and coming Drum & Bass artists to introduce you to. Don’t worry, we don’t intend to stop or slow down anytime soon and have more great mixes to bring you over the last few weeks of 2020 and well into 2021.
The series has become increasingly popular with our schedule currently being booked up until April 2021. We’re absolutely buzzing about this! What started off as a quest to find new artists has developed into something much more. We’ve uncovered a load of new artists from every area of the Drum & Bass spectrum. We’ve introduced producers to labels they’re now releasing on and have helped with advice and guidance along the way. We want to keep on doing this and a lot more.
But, for now, we celebrate this milestone with not 1 but 2 great mixes as a small way of thanking all of our regular listeners and readers. We couldn’t do this without all of you supporting what we’re trying to achieve and that is giving a platform to aspiring artists who are often overlooked.
So kick back, turn up the bass and enjoy our latest two mixes from Anikonik and Guzi!!

Anikonik has been at the forefront pushing the faster side of bass-driven music in Scotland since 2013. With an undying love for Drum and Bass, Jungle and Footwork, Anikoniks’ sets are typically hard, fast-paced and experimental.
She is not only a DJ and promoter but a budding producer who was picked as a mentee by RAM Records for the EQ50 mentorship program this year. The dance floor is a sacred space for Anikonik, and having the privilege of working with one of the UK’s best sound systems means a lot has been learned in terms of music quality and what it is that drives people to dance. This knowledge is currently being applied to her productions, in which she is in no rush to release – until the quality is high and the vibe is absolutely perfect.

Guzi is a Drum & Bass and Jungle producer / DJ based in Brighton (UK). He is signed to Sub-liminal Recordings and also manages the sister label – Sub-Division Recordings.
As well as making and releasing his own music and managing the label, Guzi also teaches music production via Education & Bass. He also does mixing and mastering for a big chunk of the Drum & Bass scene.
Guzi first got into Drum & Bass in 2009 after listening to DJ Hype’s Drum N Bass Essentials CD. He then spent the next 10 years perfecting and honing his skills in production, drawing influence from the likes of The Prodigy.
