David Bau returns to Throne Room with KUSP on remix duties

Share

Throne Room welcome back resident David Bau for another two track eclectic yet progressively pumping EP, titled ‘Awake’.

David has already solidified himself as an established front-runner in the scene with signings to Pig&Dan’s ‘Elevate Records’, gaining regular support from the duo on many of his tracks. They package off the release with one of the Uk’s fastest growing techno acts; KUSP.

KUSP started life as a random studio session between two best friends rediscovering their love for electronic music. Fast forward 2 years and they’ve already racked up a Beatport number 1 in the Leftfield House & Techno chart. The duo’s hard-hitting techno productions, pioneered by the likes of Alan Fitzpatrick, Charlotte De Witte and Adam Beyer, gained them BBC Radio 1 support early on, amassing stellar releases on staple record labels such as Suara, R&S Records, We Are The Brave, Odd Recordings, Octopus and Kneaded Pains.

We premiere KUSP’s remix on NUDE Techno today, check it out below and grab it here.

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
