Vici & Miss Understood join forces

Up next for Drum Army is another outstanding Liquid Drum & Bass release. It’s a beautiful EP by the French DJ and Producer Vici and his vocalist partner in crime Miss Understood. Since their banging collaboration ‘Glow’ the duo has been on everyone’s lips. Their ‘Child Of The Moon’ EP is a project which they have been working on for a while now and means a lot to them personally.

The ‘Child Of The Moon’ EP opens with the title track which is a harmonic rolling Liquid Drum & Bass track. The next tune ‘Rainbow Warrior’ keeps the rolling vibe combined with crunchy breaks and sweet piano melodies. Next up is ‘Pichu’ which is my personal favourite track on the EP and is, therefore, our premiere today. It combines the harmonic vibe of the EP with smooth and jungly breaks. Closing the EP is ‘Climax’ which is a beautiful and calm Breakbeat track.

Vici is a promising recruit of the Bass Jump Crew (Grenoble, France). Vici was just 9 years old when he first got absorbed into the Drum & Bass scene and has never let it go again. In only a few years, he became one of the most exciting challengers on the french Drum & Bass circuit. With signature releases on Hyperactivity Music as well as a noteworthy collaboration with the almighty The Clamps as part of the ‘French Plates’ compilation, he has been working incredibly hard to make his name known. An incredible technician and peerless selector, Vici is an undeniable asset when it comes to smashing a dancefloor.

Vici & Miss Understood’ ‘Child Of The Moon’ EP drops on 26th June via Drum Army. Check out our premiere of ‘Pichu’ below and grab the EP when it drops!
