Influence Records drop ‘The Fire EP 2’

Following on from the well-received ‘The Fire’ EP which saw remixes from Bungle, Commix, Zero T and Sevin, Influence Records sought to replicate the same approach by commissioning well-respected producers to remix some of Influences’ biggest tracks, welcoming Paul T & Ed Oberon, Lynx, HLZ and L-Side. They come with four killer remixes that have already had heavyweight play from Fabio and DJ Flight.
‘Fury’ – Conrad Subs (Paul T and Ed Oberon Remix): ONLY YOUUUU MAKE ME FEEL ALIVEEEE! BOOOOOM. It’s a massive tune in its own right and now the mighty Paul T and Ed Oberon get their teeth into it, twisting up the bass while retaining the musical structure and high energy jungle beats. Rewind guys!
‘Full Circle’ – CPH and Phil Tangent (HLZ Remix): One of Influences’ biggest tunes of 2022 which had everyone from Grooverider, Doc Scott and Fabio smashing it, HLZ gets to grips with this futuristic roller and goes in deep. It’s pulsing and gripping, stripped back drop straight into the funk. The bass flips and goes full techno vibes –yes HLZ you bad man.
‘Point of View’ – L-Side (Lynx Remix): One of the standout tracks from Aaron Jay’s Diaries from Detroit City gets the Lynx affect. He brings more dub vibes to the remix, opening with a huge fanfare of horns before we destroy the dancefloor. It’s got more breath between the beats turning it from a roller to a stepper. It’s Lynx doing what he does, pure class remix.
‘Under The Stars’ – Lynx & Jakobi Ft. Kagey (L-Side Remix): Warm stabs, strings…Under the Stars! It’s an old school break take on Lynx’s brilliant track. L-Side makes it even more bouncy than the original, already a firm favourite with Fabio.
