Solardo bring ‘Tribesmen’ back to Hot Creations, 10 years on

Share

Some records come with history.

Solardo return to Hot Creations on 19th June 2026 with ‘Tribesmen (10 Years On Remix)’, revisiting the track that helped kick the door open for the Manchester duo back in 2016.

And for us, this one hits a bit differently.

Data Transmission was there right at the start with Solardo. First blog coverage, early premieres, first mixes, the lot. Before the global tours, before Sola, before the Beatport No.1s became part of the story, there was already something bubbling. ‘Tribesmen’ was one of those records that felt like a proper marker. Big vocal. Big groove. Big moment.

Ten years later, they are back with it.

Rather than ripping the original apart, Solardo keep the bones in place and give ‘Tribesmen’ the extra weight of a decade spent smashing clubs, festivals, rooftops and sweaty rooms across the world. The vocal still does the business, but the drums hit harder, the low-end carries more bite, and those acid touches give it a fresh bit of snap for 2026 floors.

Since the original, Solardo have become one of UK tech house’s biggest names, building Sola Records, touring heavily, and staying firmly locked into the dancefloor. So returning to Hot Creations with this remix feels less like a nostalgia trip and more like unfinished business getting another run.

We’re buzzing to premiere this one on Data Transmission. Proper full-circle stuff, massive love to the boys!

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
