Serpnt Returns to Dispatch Recordings with Wingz and M:FX for ‘Styx / Fracture’

Serpnt is back on home turf at Dispatch Recordings, this time bringing Wingz and Vienna’s M:FX along for a two-track release ‘Styx / Fracture’, that’s already proven itself where it counts, on the dancefloor.

‘Styx’ opens things up, a collaboration between Serpnt and Wingz built around the Greek myth of the river separating the living from the dead. It’s dark, immersive and unhurried, haunting atmospheres layered over rolling drums and low end that sits heavy in the chest. Hypnotic and foreboding in equal measure, it’s the sound of both artists’ mood-driven precision at full strength, the kind of track that turns a packed room quiet and watchful before the bass drops.

Flip it over for ‘Fracture’, where Serpnt teams up with M:FX for something stripped back but no less effective. Intricate drum programming, tension-coiled sound design and serious bass pressure define the track, balancing the darker tone of the release while bringing its own distinct edge. Where ‘Styx’ broods, ‘Fracture’ cuts, all sharp edges and technical precision built for systems that can handle the low end.

Together, the two tracks make a genuinely complementary pairing, atmosphere and mythology on one side, technical bite on the other, both rooted in the same dark palette but pulling in different directions across the dancefloor.

Speaking on the release, Dispatch founder Ant TC1 said:

Both strong tracks with a degree of variation that complement each other really well. Goes without saying that with these artists involved collaboratively the production is grade A.”
