Mix Of The Day: Exclusive Clouded Judgement Mix

We love exciting new talent here at DT which is why it is our pleasure to present to you an exclusive mix from one of the fastest rising duos in electronic music in Clouded Judgement.

From our neck of the woods, Clouded Judgement was the creation of Dave French and Rob Morley, 2 friends from the outskirts of London back in 2012. From there on they’ve never looked back releasing their early work on a handful of different labels  before a chance message to Lee M Kelsall kick-started their career with Lee giving them a chance to remix the track “Gimme” They took the opportunity and crafted their own Deep House remix which was signed to Love Not Money Records which was released in the Summer of 2012.

A successful summer in Ibiza followed and upon their return the boys quickly found themselves as sought out artists within the UK. Another chance meeting with Rob Made at one of their gigs saw them set to work on a number of tracks for Sleazy Deep which were released on the labels Miami compilation and saw them find gain huge support from Amine Edge & DANCE as well as a host of other big names.

From then on, everything seemed to take shape. With Amine Edge & DANCE starting CUFF the new label then seemed a natural fit for their particular sound. After sending over a few unreleased tracks, “Give Us An E” was signed to CUFF in a matter of days and is due for release in Feb 2014. The track has already appeared on several of Amine Edge’s sets, Rinse FM & also Roger Sanchez’s “Release Yourself” Radio Show.

The South London duo have been hard at work in the studio, with a busy release schedule on labels such as: CUFF, NastyFunk & Fresh II Death in addition to a hectic touring schedule including  playing this Saturday at Amine Edge & DANCE present Cuff Ibiza Launch Party at London’s Great Suffolk Street.

2014 looks like an exciting year for these two, with bookings all over the UK and interest from around the world, you can be sure that you will be hearing plenty more from these two in the coming months.

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
