DT847 – Amine Edge & DANCE

Share

Hailing from the vibrant city of Marseille in the sunny south of France, Amine Edge & DANCE are a dynamic DJ duo whose musical journey is as unique and eclectic as their upbringing. Born in the pulsating 80s, their destinies converged as teenagers, fueled by a shared love for music that transcended genres and connected them on a deep, artistic level.

In their formative years, DANCE immersed himself in the rhythmic world of Hip Hop and R’n’B, drawing inspiration from the urban beats that pulsated through the streets of Marseille. Meanwhile, Amine Edge delved into the infectious rhythms of House Music, infusing his sound with an innate understanding of groove. However, their connection went beyond their musical preferences; it was a meeting of minds, a fusion of passion that set the stage for their collaborative journey.

Amine Edge & DANCE bring their soulful sound to Hot Creations with their uplifting new release ‘It Was’ featuring Pershard Owens backed by a remix from Shermanology.

Maintaining a constant presence at the top of the charts, with an impressive catalogue boasting releases on esteemed labels such as Defected, Nervous Records and their very own CUFF imprint, French duo Amine Edge & DANCE have solidified themselves as frontrunners when it comes to the modern house landscape. Up next, their partnership takes them to Jamie Jones and Lee Foss’ Hot Creations imprint for the first time with their latest single ‘It Was’ featuring Pershard Owens, with brother-sister duo Shermanology on hand on remix duties to bring the heat.

Today, they join us on the podcast for the first time. Listen to it below, on Mixcloud or iTunes here.
