Half Baked ‘NYE Special’

Share

halfbakednye.jpg

5 years back Half Baked started as a party on a sunny Sunday afternoon in an arched car park in East London. From the very beginning it became something that became very special to everyone, known for a crowd of friendly faces with big smiles, the illuminated bicycle hanging from the ceiling, the Half Baked sign decorated with flowers and of course great music. Despite now being five years older, that magic from those very first parties still exists today as we’re sure many of you will agree. Throughout the past 5 years Half Baked has spread far and wide, from showcases right across the world in some of the most renowned venues and beautiful locations to the relatively recent addition of a vinyl only record label releasing the music we love from our closest friends and family, all whilst continuing the parties in our home – London.

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
