It’s hard to think of a name that has risen as quickly within the UK underground quite as rapidly as Dusky has.

On 14th March 2014, Dusky Presents will see the London duo headline Room One playing an extended four hour set at Fabric London alongside curating three rooms of house, techno and garage. Championed by DJs as diverse as Loefah, Jamie Jones, Boddika, Skream and Sasha, their singles such as ‘Flo Jam,’ Nobody Else’ and ‘Careless’ have showcased their take on both classic and contemporary influences that hit with a distinctly UK edge.

“Having spent so much time there during our early raving days, fabric is a club that will always feel special to us and our debut there in November felt like a proper milestone for us,” offer Dusky of the partnership. “The soundsystem, the heritage, the dedication to electronic music, the energy, there’s just not many places left in London quite like it. To be able to curate an entire night’s programming is a serious honour and we have been lucky enough to book both some of our longest standing musical heroes (including one of our favourite US techno producers) and those who we feel are pushing house and techno forward in 2013 and beyond.”

“With house, techno and garage all represented, we’ve tried to showcase the wider spectrum of influences that continue to inspire us musically. We hope to see you there and look forward to testing some of our new productions on that famous soundsystem.”

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
