Now one of the UK’s biggest open-air events and one of the most talked about fixtures on the summer festival circuit, Cocoon in the Park returns in 2013 to the picturesque estate of Temple Newsam, Leeds to celebrate five years of Cocoon in the Park! Once again Cocoon in the Park brings you a world class lineup of the most in demand artists across one stage.

Cocoon founder and godfather of techno Sven Väth will headline the event, the mans name continues to grow and grow, which is hard as he already has one of the biggest names out there! He has his fans in the most important clubs across the globe as well as at the world’s biggest festivals, he has toured South America and played in the Thai jungle, and he is cultural ambassador of the German Goethe Institute. On the dance floor, he unites thirty-five-year-olds with fifteen-year-olds, and that is why its exciting news for all he will be at the festival. Richie Hawtin has a monstrous amount of devoted fans worldwide and for good reason, this is a man is as relevant today as he was back in the early 90s. He is a must see this year and with the company at this festival why not here? One of the original instigators of the microhouse and Latin-infused minimal techno genres, Ricardo Villalobos began DJing in his native Chile in the early 90s honing his unique take on electronic music to create the original sound he is widely-revered for today. This is another massive name on the list, and it doesn’t stop there! With Craig Richards who most would call a ‘DJ’s DJ’. Each and every week he creates an inspiring soundtrack for the club, never the same and always challenging, with his masterful early morning sets gaining something of a cult status for regulars at Fabric. For these reasons its clear to see where you should be on Saturday 13th July

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
