Buggedout Weekender 2014 – First Line-ups



As we mentioned previously Bugged Out will be celebratiing their 20-year anniversary next year and their flatship event the Buggedout Weekender returns with a bang on the new dates of March 7, 8, 9th at a new location; the Pontins resort in Southport, near Liverpool.  The multi-roomed event features world renowned DJs and live acts, accommodation on site and will include pool parties and day-time activities.

Today, they have announced the first set of DJs with a mixture of artists that have been prominent over the 20 years.  Firstly Dave Clarke who first played Bugged Out 20 years ago in 1994 – and was a stalwart in the Manchester and Liverpool days –  will grace the decks once again.  Sasha first played for Bugged Out in 1999 on millennium eve in Liverpool.  They first discovered Erol Alkan back in 2001 and he soon became the Bugged Out resident whose career now spans 13 years. Dixon, Dusky, Eats Everything, Kölsch and Paul Woolford have all been faces at Bugged Out over the more recent years.   For those that missed out Kölsch Podcast recent, here it is again:

Early bird tickets for Bugged Out Weekender 2014 are on-sale now priced at £129pp, £139pp and £149pp: www.buggedoutweekender.net.  Those interested can secure their place with a £50pp deposit with the final balance due no later than 7th Feb 2014 (4 weeks before the event).

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
