Eagles & Butterflies has led a charmed life since the outset really, with his early productions picked up by John Digweed’s Bedrock and then being granted the opportunity to really showcase his talents as resident at Space Ibiza’s Friday night shindig, Clandestin last summer.
His first grabbed our attention with his second Spread Your Wings EP on his imprint of the same name which made our single of the week as we championed the heady, jam-packed series of tracks made for the floor.
Following on from that release we then exclusively hooked up with the Ibiza based producer to share his set from his performance for Bedrock’s 15th alongside John Digweed and Max Cooper for all of us not fortunate enough to make it down to Fire that night, and we knew then as soon as we heard that mix that we needed to get this young man on the DT podcast.
Fast forward a few months and we’ve since seen E&B revisit six pivotal moments in his fledgling career now for our Steps with… series are delighted to welcome the talented producer to deliver this weeks exclusive mix. The mix gives fans the chance to garner a full flavor of his upcoming album ‘The Butterfly Effect’ with a set full of tracks from the new LP alongside efforts from his last EP and no less than two new, exclusive never heard before jams which have made their way into the mix. 100% Eagles & Butterflies. 110% what we needed this morning.
