270 – Fabio Lendrum

Fabio Lendrum is a Singer/Songwriter and producer who hails from South London. His musical journey started when he saw The White Stripes at London’s Hammersmith Apollo, after watching the band in action he decided he wanted a piece of the action too. Following this, at the age of 15 Fabio started to learn how to produce, meshing the worlds of electro and punk in a bid to find his sound. It worked. He ended up landing a deal with Metrophonic Studio House, the imprint behind some of The Wanted’s biggest hits. It was not for him though, he couldn’t handle the clean-cut image that was asked of him, a deal with Warners followed but changes in personnel quickly complicated matters. He needed to do something different and, he did. He founded Roads Records, established a reputation as a respected DJ and co-wrote Example’s Top 10 hit ‘Won’t Go Quietly’. Now, looking brightly into the future and having already earned credibility behind the decks following prestigious sets at Bestival, Matter, seOne and a long-term residency at the world-famous Koko in London, Fabio is establishing himself as a force to be reckoned with. Producing dance-floor smashes that should see go very far in the business. Get ready for his podcast on Data Transmission…TRACK LISTING: 1. Disclosure – Boiling (feat. Sinead Harnett) 2. Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
