Kellie Allen selects her 5 Hot Tracks In Ibiza (June 2016)

Originally from London, UK, Kellie Allen is now a musician, DJ and producer based in Ibiza, resident DJ for Tribal Sessions at Sankeys Ibiza and Ibizan local, she is also Sankeys Ibiza Radio show host for Tribal Sessions Radio with fellow resident Jozef K. Kellie is a keen pianist and vocalist and has released original music on Warner Music Group Japan, EMI UK and Toolroom Records with major UK radio plays on Capital FM and Kiss FM.

We asked Kellie to pick the big tracks that are rocking Ibiza each month over the summer, these are her choices for June 2016.

1. Audiojack – Perception (Material)
I welcomed this recent release from Audiojack into my sets with open arms ever since hearing the guys drop it at their Sunday Social party at my local Ibiza haunt Veto. The flute breakdown has a massive reaction from the crowds every time and I’ve had quite a few peers looking over my shoulder at the CDJ for a track ID too! This will be a firm fixture in my sets for a while to come.

2. Ronnie Spiteri – Thin & Crispy (Do Not Sleep)

Ronnie Spiteri’s Thin & Crispy has been bossing dance floors all over Ibiza with it’s chunky, sexy bass line. I’ve heard Darius Syrossian dropping this one a couple of times, especially at Do Not Sleep at Space on Sundays. I love keeping this one back and then dropping it in my closing sets at Tribal Sessions – It always has a massive impact!

3. Elomak – Mocha Blanc (CUFF)

There has been so much hype about this track since it’s official release last month. I heard Amine Edge & Dance play this at the opening of Amnesia 2016 and it didn’t disappoint! Elomak brings loads of energy to the dance floor with this one and it instantly switched things up a notch in the main room… it’s one of those powerful Tech House tracks that just goes off!

4. Lauren Lane – Diary Of A Mental Woman (Edible)

I still can’t get enough of this release from Lauren Lane. I first started playing it at Sankeys off-season in the winter Sankeys Sabados parties and it’s one of those tracks that you can recognise instantly from a mile-off with it’s driving sub-bass and mischievous riff. I watched Lauren drop this in her recent set at Rumours and can’t wait to check her out again when she plays for Abode later in the season.

5. Hauswerks & Anek – House Train (VIVa Music)

So I popped into the opening of VIVa Warriors last Sunday and wow, what a party! It was going off in every direction and the track playing was instantly recognisable with it’s infectious “Sounds Like A House Train” hook. A team effort by Hauswerks and Anek, it’s groovy bassline and unmistakeable ad-libbed drop sets this release on fire… Had a great time watching the whole room go wild for it!
