G. Markus ‘Crave 4 U’

Following on from his heavily supported edits pack for Soul Clap Records and a rapidly-repressed Roots For Bloom Colours vinyl feature, the secretive G.Markus strikes back with his second full EP on Ben Gomori’s Monologues Records label.

‘Old Mutha’ delves into dusty jazz & blues samples and creates a stomping groove with some rough edges, where as our Debut Transmission for today’s ‘Crave 4 U’ gets busy on the talkbox and squelching acid-funk, while ‘Poussez-Poulet’ goes for off-kilter wiggling and bugged-out vocals.

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
