Mix of the Day: Jim Rider

Birmingham born, London based DJ & Producer Jim Rider has been in and around house music for a while.

Having promoted clubs and festivals as a career and being half of Eton Messy favourites Boean he’s now going it alone with a darker, more tech driven sound. The former Tribal Sessions resident has played the likes of Space Ibiza, Tresor Berlin, Abode at Studio 338 plus Dimensions and Boardmasters festivals road testing new solo material.

He locked himself in the studio perfecting his sound and has started with a bang. His first release “Warm” on Flashmob Records was released in early October, quickly followed up by the acid tinged “Flasher” on the mighty Toolroom Records’ AMSTDM2017 album alongside heavyweights such as Maya Jane Coles, Bicep, Mark Knight, Richy Ahmed & Kerri Chandler.

With his forthcoming “Peaky EP” joining the likes of Sidney Charles, Sante, Carlo Lio and Nicole Moudaber on Monique Musique plus an upcoming remix for Buenos Aries based label Rezongar Music the future looks bright!

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
