From House to Disco joins the Spotlight Mix

From House to Disco: a name that already synthesizes, in its own meaning, the duo’s musical trend and versatility.

Together at the forefront of decks for over ten years, the duo traces a journey of celebration that embodies the dimension of the grooves between the universe of house and disco music, bringing narratives that move through the most different moods – sometimes leading to lightness and the freshness for softer moments, or exploring more intense and energetic selections for the peak of the dancefloor.

The expansive, diverse and dancing atmosphere of From House to Disco has been catching the watch of the most varied spots in Brazil, in particular, the hot spaces of the Rio – São Paulo hub such as Festa Selvagem, Gop Tun, Festa Rara, Caos Campinas, Time Warp (BR), D-EDGE, Piknic Electronik, Lollapalooza and Glitterbox (Defected british label), sharing the stage with renowned names from the scene such as Kerri Chandler, Dave Lee (Joey Negro), Danny Daze, WhoMadeWho, Eli Iwasa, Mau Mau and DJ Marky. Besides, the duo has already had the prestige of appearing in some of the renowned clubs in Europe, such as Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), Drop Dance Society (Barcelona), Rock In Rio and MusicBox, both in Lisbon.

With a refined curatorship and in-depth research, the duo connects the old school’s avant-garde with contemporary freshness, building a sound journey that walks between the past, the present and the future. This special personality also guides the From House To Disco’s creative profile in the studio, which has releases on labels such as Renato Cohen’s Massa Records, COCADA Music – the sub label by Get Physical, and Ella De Vuono’s Diversall Music. Their tracks have already achieved notable highlights on music charts,
reaching the Top 20 in the Nu Disco category on Traxsource, as well as the support of Palms Trax, Job Jobse, Jamie Jones, Yuksek, Valentina Luz e Eli Iwasa.

Understanding the dynamics of the dance floor from different perspectives, showing a fluid, connected and charismatic ease, are attributes that make From House to Disco a project that surprises at every presentation, taking forward the House and Disco Music’s authentic timeless message by worshiping union, freedom and diversity through their musical signature.

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
