460 – Paradisko

Sometimes one just isn’t enough. Just ask Charlie Sheen or… actually just asking Charlie will do, asking anyone else after him just seems well, gratuitous. Thus it’s with great delight that we’re able to present you with a second offering straight from dynamic duo Paradisko, as the self confessed pizza lovers and chewing gum enthusiasts return to Data Transmission for the second time in as many weeks to cook up a special mix for the latest edition of the DT podcast.

Mixed ahead of the November 9th arrival of their new single ‘Fool’ for Istanbul based imprint High Above The Ground, ‘Fool’ and its accompanying remixes from Martin Roth and Final DJs see Paradisko continue the rich vein of form that first brought them to our attention and follows on from a number impressive releases and remixes for the likes of Silhouette and French outpost On The Fruit Music.

Masterfully maintaining intensity throughout, this 60 minute workout was just what we needed to help us get over our Halloween weekend exertions although we’ll admit it’s already got us eagerly eyeing up Friday night!

What’s your personal favourite track on it?
Friendless, Drifting Lights, Trooko – Set Me On (Trooko Remix) represents a well planned production in our terms. Regarding our taste in music, there is not a shadow of a doubt that this track represents the best of recent Tech-House and House collaborations. Additionally, Claude VonStroke’s remix of The Chemical Brothers’ ‘Go’ is dope!

What’s the special ingredient in this mix?
Our current outlook on music.

What’s the best gig you’ve played recently?
We’re going to have to mention 3: Warming up Hercules & Love Affair at Babylon was an amazing experience as was it to warm up for Martin Roth and Tim Green at Topless. These were amazing Istanbul experiences but playing at Fogas Haz, Budapest with our dear friend Infraghandi to 600 people was the best gig we had so far!

What have you got coming up?
We have another EP which will be out on late winter/early spring a bangerish disco tune which we hope will be a hit. Apart from that we have a freebie track as a christmas gift! Some other freebies and a remix for Air Zaire which will be out early 2016
