NUDE021: Indira Paganotto


Indira Paganotto born in 1992 and is currently one of the most talented producers of the national electronic music. Indira has had an eclectic musical education. Her father, DJ in Goa (India) in the 90 was her musical reference from small and his collection of acid house, goa trance, jazz and rock psychedelic was the perfect library for the young italocanary.

At 16 she became interested in the vinyl of her father and began to DJing in clubs on the island. The following year Ian Pooley signed her in his label, she created her first vinyl “Underground Love ” with collaborations Jef K Gwen Maze, G-Room and Ian Pooley.
She released her second vinyl in 2014 in Pooledmusic, called “Time out Man “.

Having played in some of the best clubs and Festivals like Lollapalooza Festival (Argentina), Eyeife Festival (Cuba), Fusion Festival (Berlin), Tribal Gathering Festival (Panama), Daydream Festival, Rex Club (Paris), Egg Club (London), Harry Klein (Munich), Gare Porto (Portugal), Goa – Fabrik (Madrid) and more; sharing the stage with International artist like Amelie Lens, Ben Klock, Adam Beyer, Flug, Dasha Rush, Nina Kraviz, Oxia, Ian Pooley, Sven Vath, Marc Houle, among others.

Indira sets are full of groove and forcefulness, she draws on elements from all genres including Psy progressive, minimal and techno, not afraid to blend genres or styles, always with organic acid touches, reminiscent of her heritage musical. This energetic eclecticism has become her main signature, with her constant smile. 2019 was the year of Indira, she released a solid EP called ¨Number¨ on Octopus Recordings, label based in Los Angeles and she signed two more references that will come out in 2020. This year comes loaded with new features for Indira Paganotto, she is preparing her first album and a new label that soon we will have news.

What’s the special ingredient in this mix?
The delicious aroma of sunrise in the mountains, that fresh breeze and that timeless light that all sunrises have, that’s how I did this session.

What’s the best gig you’ve played recently?
Recently I played in Beirut at the B018, a mythical club where the roof opens and closes while it is being played and the sound is amazing as well as the club deco inspired in my opinion to the mad max vibe.

What have you got coming up?
Right now I am preparing my first album and I already have other tracks closed on labels like Octopus Records and others that I still can’t say. Soon will give birth my own Label out too so, i am very busy but so excited!

And finally, do you have a special message for our readers?
Hope and strength in these hard times, I hope that with my music you can take it better or it will slightly relieve you in that temporary space in which you listen to this Podcast. I leave you a little piece of me.

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
