It’s the last day of work before the bank holiday weekend and we’re in a fantastic mood here at Data Transmission HQ. The sun is shining, the weather is sweet and life is good. The much needed break and lovely weather here in London aren’t the only reasons for our smiley demeanour as we’ve all been hugely enjoying the new video from the mysterious Hedonism Music label boss Simion.

Entitled ‘U + I’  the release follows on from his massive remix of Ben Pearce’s Top 10 record ‘What I Might Do,’ and from the second we heard it we knew we had to nab it for the pages of Data Transmission before its release on May 9th.

Complete with stellar remixes from Sankeys resident Darius Syrossian, as well as deep house hero Betoko and Verona house legends Paul C and Paolo Martini, ‘U+I’ is all about its warm house riffs and a jacking groove, with irresistible vocals courtesy of Jo Hall. Check out the original complete with official video exclusively here at DT to kickstart your weekend early!

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
