Share

Canadian DJ Vaxx drops his debut single on Marylebone Records, setting the bar high with his latest banger, ‘No Matter’.

A bassline and percussion-driven tech-house roller, ‘No Matter’ is perfect for peak-time sets. Synth stabs and percussive hits and fills add another dimension, while sultry vocals compensate for the unrelenting drive, adding an emotional undertone with an uplifting message.

The Toronto-based DJ pumps a primarily European sound in the form of tribal-influenced, rolling Tech House with thunderous basslines and a keen emphasis on percussive creativity. Citing inspiration from the likes of Max Chapman, Iglesias and Latmun, Vaxx has found his ever-growing catalogue of releases attaching themselves to imprints like Toolroom, Low:Res, Roush, Glasgow Underground to name a few.

A regular feature in Toronto’s blossoming nightlife scene, Vaxx is a frequent attraction at the likes of Coda and One Loft. His standout productions have been championed by A-list DJs including Marco Carola, Eli Brown and Stacey Pullen.

As one of the founding members of popular Tech House imprint ’Wasted Music’, Vaxx is an artist with a remarkable amount of opportunity in the pipeline. With major figures frequently advocating his productions, along with a whole host of high-profile releases in the pipeline, the Canadian trailblazer is going from strength to strength as he vows to become a household name.
