JAZ (UK) makes his debut on Marylebone Records

UK House and Techno DJ JAZ (UK) makes his debut on Marylebone Records with his 90s-inspired EP ‘One Love’ which carries all the elements of his signature, dancefloor sound.

The two-track EP delivers a duo of dance floor weapons with big baselines guaranteed to blow your socks off. One Love’s lead track features catchy female vocals and live, energetic synths inspired by the days of the early 90s rave scene. The EP’s second track, This is House, blends that traditional classic house sound and a killer piano riff with elements of rolling, underground techno to create something new altogether. After a long winter shut away inside, this EP is setting the scene for another Summer of Love.

James Zamyslianskyi is quickly becoming an established name in the underground music scene under his moniker JAZ. After several years on the scene as a DJ and producer, JAZ locked himself away to focus on crafting and perfecting a unique sound.

JAZ told us: “I wanted to create an EP that conjures up the liberation of the 90s. One Love is inspired by the underground rave scene and, for me, these tracks capture that sense of adventure.  It’s been a difficult year and I think we’ll all appreciate the newfound freedom, when it eventually arrives. I certainly think the time is ripe for a rave revival.”

JAZ’s energetic, dancefloor sound has seen recent releases on Criminal Hype, Underground Audio and Roush. His high-energy tracks have also gained him support from industry A-listers Solardo, Green Velvet and Gorgon City.

We premiere One Love EP on Data Transmission and you can grab it here on Beatport.

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
