Stream: Sub Focus feat Kele – Turn It Around (MK Remix)

Coming from Detroit, Michigan DJ and producer Marc Kinchen  know to AKA MK, was right in the thick House and Techno scene in the Motor City  in its embryonic whilst still only a teenager. After learning the ropes from living legend Kevin Saunderson he quickly forged a reputation as one of the most respected House producers around with a series of crossover hits in the early 90’s including the underground smash ‘Burning’ featuring Alana.  Since then MK has gone on to work with a host of names from across the musical spectrum from the likes of fellow House artists Hot Natured to pop stars like Lana Del Rey whilst retaining his underground edge.

Thus it seems natural that MK should be the man to remix Sub Focus’  ‘Turn It Around’ featuring Bloc Party frontman Kele with Sub Focus’s material undergoing a similar shift into the publics mainstream consciousness without betraying where it came from.

With Kele’s kitsch vocals and MK delivering a more house enthused rework of the track, it has served as the perfect way to get us in the mood for the weekend.
